May 7, 2008:  Lying Eyes has been named a finalist in San Diego RWA's Spring Into Romance contest in the single title category.  I'm so excited to have this manuscript sent out to so many editors and agents!

May 5, 2008:  Lying Eyes has been named a finalist in the unpublished Daphne du Maurier contest hosted by the Kiss of Death chapter of RWA®.  This contest is all about mystery and suspense, and Lying Eyes is one of five finalists in the Single Title category. 

May 3, 2008:  The results are in from Valley Forge Romance Writers' Sheila ContestLying Eyes took third place in the romanctic suspense category.  Congrats to all the winners!

April 24, 2008:  Further good news from the CONNections Contest.  My romantic suspense entry, Lying Eyes, didn't final, but it tied to win their Best First Meeting Award

April 23, 2008:  I'm a double finalist in the single title category of the CONNections Contest hosted by Connecticut Romance Writers.  My manuscripts, Public Relations and Painted Blind, are on their way to an editor's desk for final judging.

March 29, 2008:  Public Relations wins the Long Contemporary/Single Title Category of The Beacon Contest hosted by First Coast Romance Writers.  My latest wip, Lying Eyes, places second in the Romantic Suspense Category.  The awards were announced at FCRW's Southern Lights Conference, and it was so much fun to meet many talented authors from my local area.

March 25, 2008:  The call came this morning:  I'm a Golden Heart® Finalist in the Contemporary Single Title Category with my manuscript, Public Relations.  Hosted by Romance Writers of America®, this is the most prestigious contest for unpublished romantic fiction.  I'll be headed to San Francisco later this summer to attend RWA's national conference and awards ceremony.  Congrats to my many fellow GH finalists--a truly talented, generous and supportive group of writers.

March 24, 2008:  I'm a double finalist in The Winter Rose Contest hosted by The Yellow Rose chapter of RWA.  Both my entries, Painted Blind (single title sequel to Public Relations) and Lying Eyes (romantic suspense) are moving on to final judging.  Check back for results later this spring!

March 23, 2008:  Lying Eyes wins the Romantic Suspense Category of The Great Expectations Contest hosted by North Texas Romance Writers of America.

March 20, 2008:  Lying Eyes finals in The Sheila Contest hosted by Valley Forge Romance Writers.
